Ride through nature
Guided rides through scenic trails, a peaceful way to connect with nature and panoramic views.
Hospitality shaped by feeling, not form. From mountains and water to the energy of the city, our places are rooted in where they are and designed around how you want to live there.
Fog is still sitting on the water, coffee is already somewhere in the air, and the day is entirely yours to shape. A canoe out on the lakes, a court booked for the afternoon, bikes for the polder villages, or none of it.

The neighbours wave like they know you. By day three, they do.
11:00This is not a hotel with a restaurant. It is a restaurant with rooms above it. What reaches the table comes from growers and suppliers a few kilometres away, and nobody is in a rush to bring the bill.

And it ends when nobody remembers the time. Somebody opens another bottle, the kitchen keeps sending small plates, and outside the city slowly shows its stars: windows, streetlights, a tram going home.

Three places, one day, and the feeling that you already know your way around.

Not a hotel. Not just a villa. A private Mediterranean estate where hospitality meets land, quietly taking shape on the island for 2027.
Read →Slowly. Spontaneously. With somewhere to go, or nowhere at all. By the water, in the mountains, in the middle of the city.
Different places, different reasons to go. Each one shaped by where it is, and how you want to experience it.

Hidden in the Vall de Laguar, YOUNG Hotels Denia is a place where hiking trails replace streets, days move slower, and nights are defined by stillness and uninterrupted stars.
Part of The YOUNG House, The Lake Tiny Houses sit where the canals meet the farmland. Ducks and swans cross the water, and winter mornings often arrive wrapped in soft fog that turns everything still.

Set between The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, YOUNG Learning Hotel is part of The YOUNG House: a place where rooms, workspaces and F&B come together, and where guests, professionals and future talent naturally cross paths. It is a hotel shaped by the life happening around it.

New YOUNG hotels are taking shape. We open them one at a time, never in a hurry, and we announce them here first. Keep an eye on this page.
You arrive by a road that keeps climbing, and when the engine stops, the silence is almost loud. Then the valley opens, and you understand.

Days are shaped by movement through the mountains and pause in between. Nights are profoundly quiet, broken only by wind, distant birds and the sense that everything has slowed down.

One of the rare places where you can truly watch the stars without interruption.

As part of the YOUNG Group, we are committed to a more responsible way of hosting: one that respects the environment, supports local communities and creates lasting value beyond the stay.

Each property is developed with a focus on longevity and efficiency, thoughtful architecture, energy-conscious systems and materials chosen with purpose, reducing impact while enhancing the experience of the space.
We work closely with local producers, artisans and partners, ensuring that each hotel reflects and supports its surroundings, strengthening regional economies while offering guests a more authentic experience.
We cook with local produce, working with growers and suppliers close to each hotel. Together with everyday practices that reduce waste, it makes for a way of staying that is both comfortable and considered.
YOUNG Hotels was created from the belief that hospitality should feel personal, considered, and connected to the place in which it exists.

Each property is shaped by its own surroundings and rhythm, from quiet landscapes and countryside living to dynamic urban environments. No two hotels are the same, yet all share a common approach.
As part of the YOUNG ecosystem, YOUNG Hotels brings together travel, community, wellbeing, learning and contemporary living within one evolving hospitality vision.
Atmosphere is built quietly, through light, timing, cleanliness and flow; details guests may never consciously notice, but always feel.
Making people feel genuinely welcomed, comfortable and seen, through attentive and thoughtful hospitality.
True hospitality lives in consistency, the quiet discipline of doing ordinary things exceptionally well, every single day.
Real connection through honest communication, human warmth, and hospitality that never feels scripted.
Taking responsibility fully, following through properly, and ensuring every guest experience feels cared for from beginning to end.
Remaining flexible, proactive and solution-oriented, while preserving calm, quality and attention to detail.
Holding the standard with consistency, discipline and care, from the first interaction to the last.
Field notes written across our hotels: what the seasons change, what the neighbours know, what the garden gives. Read slowly.

Sustainability is not a feature, it is part of how we think, design and operate. We cook with local produce, from growers and suppliers close to each hotel.

The page you were looking for has moved, or never existed. The hotels, however, are exactly where we left them.
A slow travel escape in the Costa Blanca mountains, where nature, Mediterranean flavours and quiet moments come together.

“The sweetest thing to do is nothing at all.”
The Italians have a name for it: dolce far niente.
It isn’t about laziness. It is about intention. About allowing time to slow down. About discovering that some of life’s most memorable moments happen when there is nowhere to be, nothing to prove and no reason to rush.
A morning coffee enjoyed without checking the time. A walk through the mountains without a destination. A long lunch that quietly becomes the afternoon. The simple pleasure of sitting beneath the Mediterranean sun, listening to nothing more than the breeze moving through the trees.
In a world that celebrates being busy, dolce far niente reminds us that doing less can often mean experiencing more.
There are few places where this philosophy feels more natural than the Vall de Laguar.
Hidden among the mountains of inland Alicante, yet only fifteen minutes from Dénia and the Mediterranean coast, the valley offers a side of the Costa Blanca that many travellers never discover. Stone villages, ancient terraces, winding hiking trails and panoramic views replace crowded beaches and busy promenades. Life follows a quieter rhythm here.
It is a landscape that invites you to slow down almost without noticing.
Early mornings begin with cool mountain air drifting through the valley. By midday, sunlight illuminates the terraced hillsides that have shaped this landscape for centuries. As evening arrives, the colours soften, conversations become longer, and dinner is no longer simply a meal but part of the experience itself.
This is not a destination to tick off a list.
It is one to experience slowly.
At YOUNG Hotels Denia, we believe the destination should always come before the itinerary.
Rather than encouraging guests to fill every hour with activities, we invite them to embrace a different pace: one where nature, gastronomy and wellbeing become the day’s natural rhythm.
Some mornings begin with a walk through the spectacular landscapes of the Vall de Laguar, following trails that reveal the region’s rich history and breathtaking scenery. Others are reserved for stillness: a yoga or mindfulness session surrounded by nature, or simply an afternoon by the pool with a good book and nowhere else to be.
There is time to enjoy the flavours of the Mediterranean without rushing from one course to the next. Seasonal ingredients, local produce and traditional recipes become part of the journey, whether over breakfast overlooking the mountains or during an intimate Candle Night Dinner as the sun disappears behind the valley.
Wellbeing, too, is understood differently here.
Not as a schedule of treatments, but as a feeling that develops naturally. A relaxing massage after a morning hike. Fresh mountain air through an open window. The silence that arrives once the day begins to fade.
Inspired by this slower way of travelling, YOUNG Hotels Denia has created two Disconnect Experiences, available as carefully curated two- and three-night weekday escapes.
Rather than adding more to your itinerary, these experiences have been designed to create space for what often matters most: meaningful conversations, time in nature, local gastronomy, moments of rest and the freedom to simply be present.
Each stay includes accommodation with half board, a welcome gift celebrating regional flavours, a guided hiking experience through the Vall de Laguar, a private yoga or mindfulness session, a relaxing wellness massage and a Candle Night Dinner inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. Every element has been chosen not to keep guests busy, but to help them reconnect with the landscape, with each other, and with themselves.
Available from Sunday to Thursday, the experiences reflect the valley at its most peaceful. The hiking trails are quieter, the villages move more gently, and there is a sense that the landscape belongs, if only for a moment, entirely to you.
Perhaps that is the real luxury.
Not a larger room. Not a longer list of amenities.
But the rare opportunity to spend a few days measuring time not by meetings, notifications or schedules, but by sunrise over the mountains, shared meals, quiet walks and unhurried afternoons.
In the Vall de Laguar, dolce far niente is more than an Italian expression.
It is a way of travelling.
And perhaps, a way of living.

YOUNG makes its debut in the hotel sector with its first property in Spain: a rural hotel in the heart of La Vall de Laguar, opening on 1 April 2025.
Read →In August the mornings arrive early and generous. In Denia, breakfast moves outside before the heat settles into the valley; in Kaag, the first light often comes wrapped in soft fog over the water, and everything goes quiet for a while.
There is no schedule for any of this. It simply happens, and you are welcome to be there when it does.
Every YOUNG property belongs to its local world. The bread comes from nearby, the recommendations come from people who live here, and the best route to anywhere is usually the one a neighbour draws on a napkin.
We cook with local produce, from growers and suppliers close to each hotel. Sustainability is not a feature here, it is part of how we think, design and operate.
Reservations, events, a question about a stay or a partnership. Write to the hotel you have in mind and someone there will reply personally, usually within one working day.
